Here we go! Sony A6500 low light review for anyone considering purchasing the Sony A6500 as a main camera. I’ve been filming with the A6500 for professional and personal work but the low light performance even with fast glass isn’t the best. You can still work around it IF you have the extra cash flow for noise reduction software which I show in this video.

That’s not to say you can’t use the sony A6500 in low light films, it depends how much light there is, what lens you have and if you can get away with underexposing your scene.
