In today’s video I wanted to teach you how to light a face in 3 steps. Whether you’re new to lighting or a veteran I think it’s always great to look at the process of how others do it to learn from them. An important thing to remember is balancing your ratios, how to light a room for video is just as important because your room tone is going to help sell the most important thing in the image, usually a face.

All it really takes is a lot of patience, continuous practice and soon enough you’ll have a blueprint for how to light a face for video.
