Cinestyle vs CLOG Compared

Are you wondering which picture profile is BEST for the Canon 80D?

You’ve heard technicolor cinestyle gives you a flat profile for more room in post to color grade but you’ve also seen the amazing picture quality of Canon LOG. Unfortunately you can’t get Canon LOG on any of their DSLR cameras BUT the good folks at EOSHD have created a replica of Canon LOG which creates amazing results!

In this video i’ll go over projects i’ve shot on both Technicolor Cinestyle and EOSHD C-Log to give you my thoughts on each and let you decide which one fits your needs.

Filmic Vlogging – Starting A VLOG ?

Vlogging has become an easily accessible way to document your life. It’s basically The Real World on MTV, minus having to watch it at a set time. Not only is vlogging easy to start, you don’t need fancy equipment at all. If you have a cell phone that’s ALL you truly need.

I believe with that, vlogging has become mundane with the same level and type of content. Not to blame anyone really, how interesting can you make a vlog?

Perhaps I myself will find out with my flimic vlog.

Hope you enjoy this month’s episode!

Live Free – Human Trafficking Documentary

In the city of Compton, California the wide spread use of sex trafficking, especially for young women and teenage girls, has contributed to the increase of robberies, homicides and otherwise general violence on the streets around South Los Angeles.

This documentary has been created with the support of Antioch Missionary International (http://antiochcc.com/missions/antioch-ministries-international/) and Restoration Diversion Services (http://www.restorationds.com/) to tell their story.

A story of hope, faith, love and guidance for young women who wish to get out of “The Life” and off the tracks of Long Beach Blvd.

If you wish to support their cause through volunteer work or donations please reach out through the links above.

I invite each and everyone of you who watch this to value your life much more than you have; we only have one life to live – do your part to spread more love in this world.

Thank you,

David Lee

Filmic Vlogging – Compton Aftermath

Episode 2 of the Flimic Vlogging series! I hope some of you enjoy these uhh “interesting” vlogs? Any who! Talking about my experience filming my first real documentary on teenage sex trafficking in the city of Compton, CA. It’s an epidemic and these girls really need support in any way we can offer.

For more info on the organization I worked with, RDS (Restoration Diversion Services), please follow the link below:

Hope you enjoy the flimic style vlogging, there are plenty of people who do the same but I humbly appreciate any one who watches the full length.

Beginning Video Making Canon 80D Part 1

Hey hey what’s good friends! I’m bringing to you a new series (still making films and other videos) on the Canon 80D for beginning film and video makers out there. These are non-technical reviews, no comparisons of the 80D vs X, Y, Z.

I’m making this video series strictly for those people who have the Canon 80D or are looking at buying it for the sole purpose of creating videos and films for professional or hobbyist work.

This is part 1 where I go over filters, white balance, ISO, aperture, frame rate and picture profiles.

Hope you enjoy!
